Is this normal?

Post by eli2015 » Tue Sep 22, 2015 9:02 pm

I have been studying for about 2 months now. At first I was concentrating on my fundamentals which took about a month and half, and now i am drilling taking timed sections and soon will be moving to PT's. The timing is still difficult, I thought if I concentrated on the fundamentals that timing would be slightly easier, I am not really seeing improvements in my scores, and its so disheartening when I wake up every morning at 6AM to study to see little improvement. Does this go away after a while? do things just click as you study more and more?

Timing issues are completely normal. Especially at this early stage in the game. It took me months before my timing was where I needed it to be. As you take more timed sections you will naturally start to get an internal clock that keeps you on track. Keep working on fundamentals, but try to do a decent amount of timed sections so that you can start getting that internal timing down.
