PT 57 Game 3 why is this game so challenging? Forum

Ok in all honesty, I did this game without a time limit. However, games I tend to have trouble with are games I can't do with/without time. For all that I've heard, I was expecting to encounter much worst. Why is this game considered so hard? I am wondering if the fact that I've done older games helped this one. It just didn't seem that complicated. The only thing that made me think a little was which color could go with which dinosaur,but that's about it.

its the novelty + time in my opinion. doing it without time eliminates a ton of the difficulty since its in reality just a tough grouping game. you doing it untimed and not in the context of a PT is probably largely why you don't think its hard

For me I don't think it's about time. As I said the games I struggle with are games that I just completely don't understand because I can't do it with/without time. Lookin back at my work, I think what helped me was the fact that I set it up as a double layer game with an in/out category.

but if you did it untimed how can you tell its not about time? I found this game hard only because of time, I got it perfect in review and messed it up during the timed PT since I didn't have the time. I'm just suggesting a reason why I (and probably some others) though this was hard.

AHH! The infamous Dinosaur game! I just wish they had included a Judgeasaurus in the selection!

On a more serious note, the game really just comes down to managing 2 mauve spaces between the Lambosaur/(whatever the other one was that cannot be mauve if they are both in) and either Tyranosaur or velociraptor/ultrasaur.

Once you realize that its all about those 2 mauve spots, the game becomes very easy. Watch JY Ping explain this, and you will get it!

Yeah like I said, games that I tend to struggle with are the ones I can't do whether timing is a factor or not. I doubt that this was different, but idk.

Lol right because it's very relevant. I don't have problems in real time with games that I do slowly and I can handle. An element of that is being able to effciently set up the game board. I had no problem doing that. It took me about thirty seconds to realize that I wanted to do it that way. Once I did that, it was basically no problem

Lol It's a question about why this game is such a challenge to test takers...no more, no less. Yes I asked about test takers, but you made an assertion about why I did not have a difficult time with the game. I just felt the need to address that assertion that's all. I appreciate your input.

I stated why many thought it was an issue (because I would imagine me as a typical test taker weren't an anomaly in finding it a game that takes a long time to set up, work through, and do without making errors).

however, congratulations since thats what you were really looking for, you can do a game untimed
