xnsch-

That's a great post. I can personally relate to your situation. I'm currently at 168-180 score range (lower -> upper bound).

I want to share with you a GREAT insight I have got while studying for the LSAT.

I would not be worried much about your "high" or "low" days. It is some kind of emotional estimation of your LSAT skills as opposed your real skills. It was affecting me for a while.

Try to spend more time analyzing issues...LSAT is all about pattern recognition. Develop full understanding WHY and HOW you are making these mistakes.

Based on what you said, it could make sense for you to learn how to manage your environment and your mindset while you are taking LSATs.

I keep telling myself the same mantra: "It does not matter how you score, develop full understanding of issues first, analyze and test it second, and do NOT get emotionally distracted."

There's a great quote: "If you can't describe what you are doing as a process, you don't know what you're doing." W. Edwards Deming

I hope it helps!

It is my great pleasure to help with anything I can.

Remember, LSAT is a game of nuances, distinctions, and subtle shifts.

Best of luck to you!
