what time should i wake up for PTs?
Should I simulate my PT-taking so I start at exactly 8:30 AM? What time should I wake up? Should I do light prep work before all my PTs? I feel kind of under-prepared and slightly groggy waking up and jumping soon after into a PT. Has anyone tried doing this? I know it is recommended for the day of the actual test, but what about all the practice tests? And what would constitute brief yet effective light prep?

I was on a late as fuck schedule in undergrad when I took my tests and was fine. Adrenaline should be enough to make you perform normally.
Some people do a couple problems from each section, but I didn't think that was necessary.
If you're used to taking PTs at 8am that might give you some small advantage, but don't do it if it's too much of a hassle imo

Experiment waking up at different times, adjusting/timing your caffeine intake, doing different "warm-ups" etc.
The answer to your question is going to differ from person to person and totally depends on what works best for you. So find out what's going to help you be alert when it's game time
