June LSAT hardest test? Decisions, decisions

Post by Broncos15 » Fri Aug 07, 2015 1:37 pm

Hello,

While I know the differences are very minimal, we are only talking about a few questions here

I maybe looking at a 2016 June LSAT but concerned since the June LSAT is notoriously the hardest one. ( I've used one take already in June 2014).

The June exams have generally had the least lenient curves in recent years compared to September/December ones including a -10 curve this past June :o ....and/or have had "rare" games on them that confused people ( June, 2014, June 2015)

For me, having the opportunity to take it in the afternoon more than makes up for a slightly tougher curve. If you are having any trouble sleeping due to anxiety or whatever, having those few extra hours can make a world of difference.

For the past 4-5 years, consensus is June has been the hardest exam of each year. It seems February is the easiest. But I've taken sept, December and June and can confirm June was the hardest by far.

I think it's hardest because they test new things on the June test. I've heard mixed things about Dec/Feb, though. I took mine this past February and a lot of people thought it was easy (then again, a lot of them were from here so take that however you want).

Discussed ad nauseum. LSAT's are equated. Sit when you're ready.

My question is more based on the difference ( if any) between in theory and in reality

In Theory:
The LSAT is equated. A logically more difficult test means a more generous curve and a logically easier test means a harsher curve

In practice/reality
Just as with many other things what happens "in theory" may not necessarily pan out in practice/reality ( not sure if that is/or isn't the case here)
