How to stay motivated?
Hi,
I've been studying LSAT on and off since January. I took a year off so that I could focus on LSAT, and was able to raise my score from cold 134 to 160s. I'm aiming to get 170+ on the October LSAT, but struggling because for some reason I feel burned out after studying for only a short period of time.
I usually study from 10-11am to 8pm, and take a lunch break and other short breaks in between. It's weird because after studying intensively for two to three weeks, it's hard for me to focus unless I take some weeks off, and that's why I had to prep for so long.
Any advice on staying motivated would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Think about how much money you're potentially earning each hour you study. Hint: It's a lot.

You're studying way too long per day. I'm honestly not sure how you don't realize that. 10am - 8pm? No wonder you're burning out
The test is like 4 hours long. A rigorous schedule should probably include 4-5 hours of intense, focused studying each day, then some light review after.
There's no reason to try to go 10 straight hours. Frankly it's unwise

as others have said you are studying way too much, probably more than twice as much as is advisable, and three times as much as is necessary.

Wait, I'm on this study plan too....and I feell like I don't deserve to cut back because I am still flirting with 160s and I'm aiming for 170+ too. Does anyone have a suggestion for me?

Cut your studying time down. More does not always equal better. The best way to improve in your situation is to relax and have full confidence in what you have already done, and if necessary rethink your studying techniques to make them more effective for your goal.lawschoolgirl312 wrote:myk247 wrote:Hi,
