Can anyone recommend a good printer?
Bought a printer earlier this year to print out LSAT materials but it literally eats up ink. Could've paid for law school with the amount of $ I spent on ink alone.
Plan on calling Amazon and getting rid of the printer. Need to buy a new one right away. Anyone know of any great, inexpensive printers that is good with ink? Would really appreciate any type of recommendation. Thanks!

Third for the Brother. I have the 2270, because I got it 3 years ago at the start of law school. It's been by far my most reliable printer I've ever owned (in 20 years of owning printers)

Thanks guys, that's exactly what I'm looking for. 1,000 pages per cartridge? Hell yeah! Getting about 150 from my current printer.
Money is tight but this will definitely be a worthwhile investment.

hey just want you to know toner can be 100 dollars at some places (equivalent to catridges for laser). but you can find them for like 12 dollars on amazon, i have the hp last 1102w, if you get this let me know and I'll give you the amazon link to the super cheap toner. I was so mindblown when it was literally 100 dollars at the local store but 12 dollars online

A tip: when your Brother starts telling you it's low on toner, keep printing. I've had a new toner cartridge (still called cartridges, btw) sitting around waiting since last spring when my printer first said Low Toner, but the print quality hasn't been affected yet.
