If you think you got at the most 6 wrong, than don't cancel. Highest score matters to schools so you still got that 172 in your pocket. I don't see any upside towards cancelling at all based on what you have told us

Thanks, what's the downside to cancelling? My gut is telling me I got perfect on the rest of the test but my head is telling me that it's not worth the risk. I thought getting a possible 168 would call my 172 into questionbuckiguy_sucks wrote:There is no downside to not canceling and a huge downside to canceling. They only care about the highest score. You gain absolutely nothing by canceling. A lower score will not call your 172 into question. Good luck!

I was about to fax my cancellation sheet. I'm convinced, I'll hold out for my score now.

Worst case scenario I I somehow get every guess wrong and did horribly on every other section and I end up with a 165 or something.. Do I write an addendum? Just say I miss bubbled? What's the protocol here?antiworldly wrote:They only care about the highest score. You gain absolutely nothing by canceling. A lower score will not call your 172 into question. Good luck!

A seven point drop does not require an addendum. A twenty point drop? probably, but then there are other questions such as did the same person take both tests/did you have a heart attack in the middle of the test and only got to bubble half of your answers. So long as you are within 10 points, no addendum, it makes it seem like you're making excuses instead of taking ownership of your performance. They understand that people do better and worse on subsequent testing, there is a natural ebb and flow.earthabides wrote:Worst case scenario I I somehow get every guess wrong and did horribly on every other section and I end up with a 165 or something.. Slightly off topic, but people like you make ME want to cancel my score. I found the LG section to be very easy... but perhaps it was hubris/the high of the testing conditions? Oh, man.

It wasn't that bad I'm sure you're fine. I just mis diagrammed a game and ran out of time because of it.Oskosh wrote:Slightly off topic, but people like you make ME want to cancel my score. Some people think LG is easy, a lot of people think it's hard. Don't cancel your score either.Oskosh wrote:Slightly off topic, but people like you make ME want to cancel my score. I found the LG section to be very easy... but perhaps it was hubris/the high of the testing conditions? Oh, man.
