Losing LSAT ability after 3 weeks off
Hey I'm going on vacation for a few weeks out of the country, I probably won't be able to study well or much at all while I'm away. I was going to take in June but I recently switched to the Oct. test. Should I be concerned about losing much ability during that lay off? Currently I'm PTing around 168ish

No. I took a 4 week break between retakes and I was just fine. You'll only be rusty on the games for a day or so, if that.

I am heading out as well for 4 weeks! and decided to take in October.
I am planning to bring with me a few games in case I have downtime early in the morning.

Yeah, same. I switched to October too. I just figured it would be better to take a pro-longed break (been studying for 7 months) rather than do some half-assed studying while I'm away. I hope whatever rust I get wears off in a few daysjeech wrote:I am heading out as well for 4 weeks! and decided to take in October.

The time off might do you some good, actually. I studied like crazy for the Feb test, maybe a bit too obsessively. I decided to retake in June and, when I came back to the PTs after a couple months off, I felt like I was seeing the test with a clearer head. Maybe my timing on the games was a little off, but that came back quickly.

word thanks for the info. I think a few weeks off might be a good idea. I'm thinking about stopping my studying from June 11th when my vacation starts til around mid-July. The oct. test is giving on 10/3/15 though so I wanna have atleast a solid 10-12 weeks of prep prior to my re-take
