I have posted here a few times before about my plan to boost my ~170 to the upper 170s by the June 8th test. Attacking LR from a formal perspective (using the Bible) is helping immensely and I foresee myself going from -3/-3 to -0/-1 by test day (RC is a different story though

However, if I believe in my heart of hearts than a score of 177+ simply is not possible on test day, would it be better to change my date to October now (i.e. before the change deadline), or to use the final weeks to my advantage as best as possible, and cancel my score on test day if I don't feel like the score will be in the upper 170s?
I am under the assumption that I will be able to gauge on test day how I did, and that Law Schools will see and consider a score that is low 170s, even if I boost to upper 170s in October.
Thanks!!
