Conditional Sentence or not?

Post by tequilawine » Sun May 10, 2015 10:54 am

Forgone pleasure that were not desired would not have been justifiably regretted.

Can someone tell me if this sentence can be changed into conditional sentence. thanks

Taking the contrapositive makes it easier to read through the malarky:

If there are forgone pleasures that are regrettable, then those pleasures must have been desired in the first place.

Further distillation:

If regret, then there was desire
