A poem is ANY work of art that exploits some of the musical characteristics of language such as meter, rhythm, euphony and rhyme.
Keep this first sentence in mind and look at the answer choices.
(C) the novel is a work of art and also exploits meter and rhyme, so it is both a novel and a poem.
A poem=any work of art + exploits some of the musical characteristics of language.
