LG: Slow Learn?
I am still focusing on the linear variety, and it turns out that in round one, I had timing issues and/or errors in 20 games, so the round two comprised of these 20 games, and in round two I had timing issues and/or errors in 12 games.
At what point would you slow learn these games instead of doing more timed rounds of successively less games each?

dont time them until you master them un-timed. goes for every section on the lsat. learn the process of being successful, then learn to speed up that process. do them slowly. timing it will only make you anxious and will make it more difficult to get better. time is important, but i think its what you tackle after you start getting -0 consistently.

If you took your diagnostic or another PT a long time ago, redo the games section and see how much you improved, it may be a pleasant surprise. I still think I suck at LG but I went from -14 to -0 after not seeing those games for over 6 months. It was a major confidence booster.

Learn how to do them untimed first. Gets packets of games and don't time yourself until you can go -0 untimed.

Re: LG: Slow Learn?
I had huge problems on LG at the beginning. I would get -1/-2 on the other sections and then logic games would be like -15. I wouldn't even be able to finish 3 games. Now I typically get between -2/-3 on that section and just got -0 on one recent PT.
Yes, in part it was due to two months of intense study and 7sage's videos online. But mostly it was because I changed my approach and ONLY timed the games. I know that sounds weird and most people would urge you to do untimed games first, but the problem for me was that I was doing the games untimed, then during timed versions I was getting stuck on one answer and not letting it go and moving on. What I needed to learn was time management skills. But then I did so many timed sections that I got the technique that works for me down cold- I do the first game in 5-7 minutes, then next game in 7-8. third game is chosen based on which remaining two games has the most questions (meaning the most answer pts.) I always aim to leave a full 10 minutes open for the last game so that I am not panicking come the last few minutes.
That technique might not work for everyone but the point is I figured out what worked for me because I only did timed logic games sections.
