Re: Online courses for 170+ retaker?
I think a course would be a waste of money for you. Courses are geared towards teaching beginners the basics.

I took a prep course and really liked it, but It seems self study has put you in a pretty good position especially if your PTs have been around 175. I would stick with it and save the money.

I'm clearly biased, but I do recommend courses for most students. It's likely that they can contribute something to your skills repertoire and they provide a structure that many students find valuable.

Re: Online courses for 170+ retaker?
Don't most classes allow you to take the first session for free? Then again, the first session will be useless to you. I'd ask if you could sit in on a class halfway through the course. That's probably the only way you will know if you are missing something by not taking the course.peke wrote:I wrote the Dec14 test and got a 171. I self-studied rigorously for the 2 months prior (10-15 hrs weekly) and lightly for about 2 months before that while working a 60 hr a week job. Under strict testing conditions, I was averaging about 174-176. I'd like to retake it again in Feb but considering taking a course this time though I have my doubts of how useful they may be for that score range. I would love to hear any thoughts/testimonies/recommendations? Thanks!
Have you done the LSAT Trainer?
Have you exhausted all prep tests?
Have you done all 7sage videos?
I'd look to the above first.
