Los Angeles-area Test Center Reassignments? Forum

I got a notice that, due to circumstances beyond LSAC's control, I've been reassigned from Southwestern to Loyola. Has anyone else in LA been reassigned? I don't mind; I actually prefer Loyola and would've picked it if it were an available test center when I registered. I'm just curious if it's an issue with the location and lots of people from SW are being reassigned or if it's limited to just a few people.

Assuming they use the same facility, there weren't individual desks. Each row was one long shared desk with individual seats, like you see in most of the law school medium-size lecture halls. So you have tons of room. It was a great place to take the test.

Same thing happened to me when I took in December. The test center at Loyola was great (long tables, small rooms, quiet) except for the fact that it was an hour from my house, instead of 10 minutes like Southwestern. I talked to an LSAC rep and it seemed like they routinely overbook Southwestern then move people away -- extremely annoying.

Those of you who are registered (or reassigned) to take the June 2014 LSAT at LMU - Does anyone know which building (and/or room) is the test location this year? Thanks in advance!
