Pass/ Fail a Class

Post by Shasta » Mon Nov 03, 2014 1:01 pm

Sorry I wasn't sure where to put this -

Does a pass/ fail look bad to law schools? I'm making a B in the class now but am scared of making a C. Would a pass/ fail look better than a C? I'd still have to retake the class for a letter grade as the class is required by my major. It's an upper div chemistry course if that matters. Thanks!!

It doesn't look bad, they won't care. And a P is infinitely better than a C

yes, a P won't affect your GPA, but a C will...On that note....dont fail it and get a NP. That straight up counts as an F in the LSAC gpa.

Schools generally don't care if you take a class P/F. I don't know that it makes sense in your situation to take it P/F rather than taking a nonpunitive W since you're going to have to take again anyway. But a P+A/B looks better than a C.
