OOPS!

Post by fireflies » Mon Oct 20, 2014 10:08 pm

Accidentally forwarded my LSAC response email before reading everything - literally was just a ball of anxiety and freaked out at the score
I know this may be a silly question but will LSAC actually discover/care and if yes can I remedy this?
Much thanks

What email? To LSAC itself or a LS? Why would LSAC give a crap about your LSAT score unless you're asking for something special or explaining something naughty.

send a follow-up email telling your mother to destroy the previous email

you do have an email signature disclaiming all responsibility for accidental disclosures, don't you?

The LSAC is known to take email confidentiality violations very seriously, and they flag any users who forward their score emails. I'd contact them to make sure that they won't invalidate your score, or worse, submit a C+F issue to law schools along with your CAS profile.

yes okay so i reread it and realized that forwarding only seems forbidden if the letter was not intended for you and whatever sorry but trolling-ish thread but it was a sincere question

People freak out after scores come out no worries.

That said, the process is only gonna get more stressful so try and relax.
