Some or most?
"a good portion" or a "decent portion"-- would these translate to some or to most?

Some
Many, several,a few, a large amount, a large proportion, not all (impies some are not), regularly, frequently, occasionally.
Most
More than half, a majority, nearly all, almost all, few (implies most are not), generally, typically, usually.

I would loosely classify that as "some"

The third-party candidate received a decent portion of the vote: 21%.

Re: Some or most?
Helpful reference:
None: 0
Some: 1-100
Most: 51-100
All: 100
I use something like this to help conceptualize different population sizes when "some" and "most" are used. I would probably classify both terms as some in this instance.
