If there were any doubts that LSAC is evil....

Post by lsatisevil7 » Sun Sep 28, 2014 11:55 pm

....is there now?

I'm pretty sure the psychological game of giving me 3 easy sections (1 an exp.) and then come back from break and destroy me was intended to do just what it did to me. Evil.

I took your username at face value, so no doubts here!

the games were tough but I felt lucky to not have to do 3 LRs or 2 RCs I think that would have been more mentally draining. Personally I would rather have challenging games then have to do 3 straight LRs

lol after every LSAT someone makes a thread like this. I remember after june someone made a thread that was literally called

"FUCK LSAC" and went on a HUGE rant about the last LG in that test. People tore him apart in the comments

Rc lr lg lg lr. What screwed me was that I went into the second logic game thinking it was experimental. I realized it may not be by the third game and I was just psychologically defeated and I couldn't focus. In retrospect, I know I could have done those last two games correctly. So frustrating.

I don't know what was 'experimental' about the first games section either. It was as standard as it gets. They need to scrap that section IMO.

Exact same setup. I was smiling to myself at break. But the LG after the break left me rattled. I was flipping through games, writing hypo after hypo. Not a single easy game. Way too time-consuming. Guessed on like 4. I tried to make up for it with the last LR.

It's been too long since I've been screwed over. :( I apparently have been studying and working too much.

I had the same order and went into my second LG section thinking it was experimental. I realized it might not be around the second game. The experimental LG section I had actually did have an unusual game (though not one that you would initially think "oh this is so crazy"). Not gonna say anymore till the test come out, but I feel your pain!

Which section did you consider hard?

I thought both the LRs were easy, but I come on here to see people claiming that they were hard.... Same for the reading comprehension... I thought the LG was the most difficult one.

However, I have had sections that I thought were easy, and I missed many questions!!! So I'm hoping this was not the case.

I felt like they could have been alot more evil on RC than they were.

Agreed. I thought June 2014 was harder but RC was hard for me this time around, too.

Wow - I feel the exact same way and had the exact same order as other posters. I went into the break very nervous but OK thinking that the first LG section was real. Either I completely misunderstood the rules of experimental tests or I was just psyched out when the second one crushed my dreams.

The second and real LG section was excruciatingly hard, was nothing like anything I had practiced, and was all over the place. Ended up guessing on what now seems like 10 questions (which is probably just me exaggerating it in my head but still...).

Given the response - even on a site like TLS which is self selecting - I may reconsider canceling my score. Hopefully a lot of people struggled and hopefully that changes the threshold for getting to a 160....at least we are all still alive, I guess.

True... the last 3 games of the second section were of moderate difficulty...
