Hi everyone,
Long time lurker. Just kind of need advice from people who did a 1)prep class and 2)finished the LSAT trainer. I recently bought the LSAT TRAINER to improve my LR skills (my lowest section) so far its really helping. My LG section is better than my LR, I usually get 0-3 questions wrong on a timed section before the LSAT trainer. Right now, I'm on the LG section on the LSAT trainer and I realize that the techniques differ from what I've learned and instead it made it more confusing for me (I feel like I've develop my own system in the past that works for me on LG). Do you guys think I should just skip this part since so far my LG has been okay? I know I still need to keep practicing with drills though, of course.
I'm kind of torn, whether I should just skip ahead on the book to work on my LR skills and RC skills (which needs a lot more improvement) but I'm afraid I'm missing out on some valuable information about LG on the LSAT Trainer. But every time I progress on an LG lesson on the trainer, it feels like it's stuff I already know?

I would usually say go ahead and read the LG section because you may learn a new strategy or technique that you can incorporate into your method. But if you already feel confident in LG, and The Trainer's methods are confusing you then you should probably just skip to the LR and RC sections and continue doing timed LG sections on the side.

True, I guess it doesn't hurt.
I guess it's because I don't follow every single diagramming technique the book recommends when I do a drill so it feels like I'm doing it wrong or going against the book, but I guess as long as it's the same idea. I did pick up on one new technique that made some things somewhat faster.
I wasn't sure that's why, maybe I just have to do a fusion of stuff that I've learned in the past from a prep class and stuff on the trainer.
thanks!

Do whatever works best for you! If thats 100% of one method or a fusion of several it doesn't really matter as long as you answer the questions correctly =)
Good luck!
