Newer Tests VS. Older Tests
Alright, so I'm under the impression that the general concenscous about the difficulty of newer tests in comparison to older tests is that the newer tests are harder. Some people have blamed lower scores on more difficult RC and a tricker LR. But Im wondering even if those sections are more difficult, shouldnt the scaled scores be about the same because the scale compensates for discrepancies in difficulty? So even if a person isnt getting as many correct in LR due to the differences, for example, it shouldnt matter because the scale will reflect this.

Eh, I think the difference in difficulty between the old and new tests is overblown. I didn't notice that big of a difference. And I think you're wrong about the scale compensating for the supposed increase in difficulty. Regardless of new or old, you usually have the same margin of error for a 170, for a 165, etc.

Thanks. I reread your response and realize I misread it before. Ugh.

Yes, it's one thing to get emotional over something that means the world to you. It's quite another thing to freak out at a complete stranger online and start lashing out at them over one comment. Malicious, to say the least.Brut wrote:InPursuitOfaPassion wrote:By the way, Ive been irritated, angry, frustrated, sad, happy, and excited while prepping for this thing. I never said that you hurt my feelings. You assumed that. I said you lashed out. It's possible to lash out at a person, for the person on the receiving end to recognize that, and for the person on the receiving end not to be affected by it but merely observe.Brut wrote:sorry i hurt your feels feels bro
