Re: Too early to start studying for June 2015?
No, it is never too early. The only word of caution I have is to not burn yourself out for the actual test. That being said 10-15 hours a week isn't much.

Too early to start seriously studying? I would say so. But < 10 hours a week of background reading and stuff is fine; I wouldn't start burning any PTs until -- at the very earliest -- like five months out.

Starting now would allow you to comfortably write every single PT available and nip the possibility of getting dominated by a particular section during your studies in April and May. But like McAvoy said, don't start burning through PTs until 2015.

You do seriously run the risk of running out of PTs. I would study but don't do any PTs after like 30. Save 30-72 for the last 3 months, so it's all fresh. Get the powerscore bible books, Kaplan 180, some Manhattan LSAT books, study those. Get comfortable with formal logic, LG, and start reading complicated things for comprehension. That's the best prep you can do at the moment.

Start reading all of the prep books now, and do some light drilling to reinforce what you're learning. I would recommend you spend most of your time with the Manhattan books and the LSAT Trainer, but it doesn't matter much -- the methods are many, principles few. Just spend the next 3-4 months learning every nuance, aperture, and chasm of this test. Then drill all of the Cambridge packets and take timed sections regularly to gauge your progress. Then start PTing.

Never too early to start learning concepts and strategies on how to attack the different types of questions. Just don't start doing PTs yet. you'll run out of test before the real deal.

Nope, I'm also studying for June 2015. I'm reading the books now and aiming for 1 PT per week until maybe April, when I'll start doing more.

Are you going to do them in order?RZ5646 wrote:Nope, I'm also studying for June 2015. I'm reading the books now and aiming for 1 PT per week until maybe April, when I'll start doing more.

Re: Too early to start studying for June 2015?
not too early to start, but as others have said, don't burn through all your material
make sure to drill before you PT unless you're already near your target score
otherwise you're wasting time and material
if you don't know how to drill, use the search function
