too late in the game to start PTs 52-72?

Post by cavalier2015 » Mon Sep 08, 2014 11:35 am

so far i've drilled a GOOD amount and have done most of the PTs from 39-51. i just did PT 52 today under timed conditions and got a 177. I was wondering if its too late in the game to start PTs 52-72 and do about 1 a day (probably skip like maybe 2 or 3 PTs in there so I can get get done by the 24th and spend the last two days relaxing).

I'm curious what the expected response is here.

"It's too late to study 52-72, you're stuck now. You can only do PTs 51 or under, because it's just too late. Sorry."

or

"No, it's not too late, you can study whatever PT whenever you want to."

Yea taking the most applicable PTs is only relevant more than 3 weeks out.

RC dual passages might be worth it.

I'm in a somewhat similar situation- I will not get to all the recent PTs before test day, and I originally thought I would. (This is why I HATE LSAT "study schedules", but I digress).

But I just decided that instead of cramming all of them in and essentially wasting them, I'll do like half (or however many) of them, get all I can out of them, and the ones that I don't use can be fresh studying for a December retake, if necessary.

I say do a couple of them before test day.

If it makes you feel any better, I have about 10 PT's left and they're all from 57 to present.

one a day sounds like too much to me
idk how you'd get quality review time in unless you were really going hardcore

i usually recommend four a week + experimentals
if you realize you need some drill time, cut it back to three
i'd start looking at the more recent ones if i were you
