Struggling to stay on task in RC

Post by woodselle » Sun Sep 07, 2014 6:14 pm

Now that the September test is just a few weeks away, I'm really starting to freak out about my RC section. I've been studying for the past month using the LSAT trainer and the 10 New Actual PTs, and while I've improved in most of my sections, I'm still really struggling with RC. I'm having trouble staying focused and picking out the important parts while I read the passage. Then when I go to answer the questions, I feel like I'm rereading most of the passage. Should I just keep practicing, or does anyone have more specific tips for how to proceed?

Gavaga1, currently I'm missing anywhere from 5-10 per section. Sometimes I have a really good section, and sometimes it's terrible. Did you time yourself when doing individual passages?
