PT 62 S1 Q14: Medical Illustrations 3rd Paragraph Forum

I am having a very difficult time seeing why C is not the credited response here and why B is.

I eliminated B because of the wording 'even if they are technically accurate' in the first sentence of paragraph 3, which in my mind opposes paragraph 2's discussion of illustrations misrepresenting facts.

I chose C because the paragraph discusses custom made versus medical textbook illustrations and because of a sentence in the first paragraph in which opponents of custom illustrations claim that medical textbook illustrations are adequate. I referred back to the 1st paragraph to put the 3rd paragraph in context.

Can someone who understands this question and the credited response walk me through their though process?

While Paragraph 2 discusses the claim that custom-made illustrations can misrepresent the facts with inaccurate drawings, Paragraph 3 discusses the related claim that even when the custom illustrations are accurate, they can still misrepresent the the facts through design decisions (emphasis, coloring, etc).

Because of this link between P2 and P3 (discussing possible misrepresentation via inaccurate or accurate drawings), I chose B. Choice C was tempting because P3 does discuss the advantages of a custom-made illustration over one from a medical textbook in a courtroom, but it only does so in the context of explaining how the design decisions that make opponents so nervous can be useful. Arguing against medical textbooks in the courtroom is not the primary purpose of the paragraph.
