When I'm done with a test, I'll usually go through all 4 passages again. I find the second time around I get a better grip on it. I usually go through all the answer choices again and see the mistakes I made before looking at the correct answer. I find this helpful because I'm not burning through more material, I guess.
Anyone else do this or find it helpful?

Sure. That's called a blind review. It's recommended and the proper way to do things. You should re-read to see what you picked up, noted, underlined, etc., and see how it corresponds with the questions. This'll help you 'get in the minds of the authors' better and enable you to pick up the structure of it all.

I even go as far as erasing all of my annotations and going through the entire passage again. Of course I wouldn't treat it as a fresh passage, but as msp8 said, you look for structural indicators which often some of the more difficult parts of RC (at least they were for me for a while).

I learned a lot from redoing passages. The test has patterns. Repetition helps you see and internalize them.
