Hey folks,
I've been prepping for the LSAT for four months now. My diagnostic was very low when I started - didn't even time myself when I took it a while back. Done drilling all of the PT 1-40 LR, RC, and LG.
Here are my PT scores from the past two months in order done:
41 = 161
42 = 162
60 = 158
43 = 161
44 = 161
45 = 168
46 = 167
47 = 159 ( a lot of noise).
65 = 160
52 = 162
53 = 160
55 = 160
56 = 166
57 = 161
58 = 165
59 = 165
61 = 163
62 = 163
All taken under real conditions and with an experimental section.
I am taking upcoming LSAT. I do blind review in-depth and take a PT once every three days. During this time when I finish blind review I drill questions and redo RC/LG. I am looking to score between 165-167 on test day. I must note that I have an easy part time job and only two classes to take this fall so time is not an issue. What would be best to improve to where I want to be for test day? My RC method is set and I have got myself to the point where I am -7/-8 which is where I would like to be. My LR is good but I run out of time. Should I keep drilling 1-40 LR passages separately just to improve speed?
All help appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Help analyzing my PT scores.
I wouldn't be content settling with -7 or -8 for RC.
I approve of the drilling LR sections, though. Speed is everything, and you need to be able to spot the question type and eliminate one or two obvious wrong answers extremely quickly. Overall, your approach sounds solid, so I'd recommend drill baby drill to get your speed at its peak.

Well that's that. I'm assuming you're tracking the types of questions you miss in LR and RC to try to spot trends and focus your efforts there?DSD2013 wrote:-0 LG.

Yup. I've been using the 7sage tool to do that and it's helped me zero in on what I miss. But i've noticed that the only questions I consistently miss are parallel flaw/ reasoning. Most other questions I miss in LR are because I run out of time. I know this because when I do blind review the answers are all clear to me.
