Should I be worried?

Post by jrdavila09 » Sat Aug 23, 2014 6:32 pm

2 weeks into my prep (20-25 hrs per week) and I'm still missing a lot (-10 to -15) of LR questions when I drill. My diagnostic was a 140. I know it's only 2 weeks, but I figured I should at least be improving somewhat. Sorry, I'm just obsessed with making a 160+ in December.

Short answer: not at all. I didn't see any improvement in the first two weeks, I seriously doubt that that's abnormal. Give yourself some time to lay the groundwork, the points will come!

If you are planning on taking the December test, you still have plenty of time left to study so there is no reason to worry. What exactly is your study plan though? Sharing this information may make it easier to identify why you may not be improving.

Thanks for responding guys! Well I'm following the lawschooli.com 16 week schedule. The first month starts with doing the LSAT Trainer and the drills. Then after that it's about getting through the LRB and LGB as quickly as possible and drill. Then completing 35 PT's with blind review.

Nope! It just takes some time to learn methods and begin to recognize patterns. If you've got till December, you have a lot of time. Don't get discouraged - I bet things will really start clicking soon.
