Writing in December, when should I start PT'ing?

Post by flash21 » Fri Aug 22, 2014 10:19 am

Whatsup guys,

I am writing in December and September is creeping up, leaving about 3 months until game day. I'm wondering when its best to start writing PT's. I have from about the low 50s - up to the most recent test as fresh, and I think most people do about 2-3 a week, correct? So I'm not sure if I should begin 2 a week beginning in september in addition to drilling, or drill all of september and begin PT's in October? So far I've been doing cambridge / timed sections.

I also am very aware of review being important, more so than just cranking out PT's. I read a post by MSLAT Christine stating that she believes doing less + better review is far superior than doing more PT's. I guess what I'm getting at is, should I do 2 or 3 PT's a week? Will 3 a week allow sufficient review time in your eyes, while also allowing me to continue drilling?

Appreciate all the advice.
