Passion towards the community? What does that have to do with law?

I strongly believe that excessive pressure, negative attitude and a poor overall mental state can significantly affect performance. If you are going in with this attitude, you are going to create a downward spiral and continue to get worse.

I don't know if it's a great analogy, but I have very similar experiences in golf. If I'm playing a round, hit a couple of bad shots or miss some easy putts, it negatively affects my mindset. As I get more upset/angry, my focus gets worse and I hit more bad shots and have a pretty terrible round. With my previous round on my mind, going into the next round, as soon as I hit a bad shot it's much easier to slip into that negative frame of mind again.

A therapist isn't a completely ridiculous idea. Professional athletes use sports psychologists all the time.

Do something to change your mindset, or it's just going to get worse.

h3, we are in the same boat, i can totally feel you, and i can understand. Im prepping for the sep test, and im not sure if i will be able to do well or live up to my expectations. I just know that i am not capable of getting a 170 or even a 165, im just hoping for a 160. its depressing, but i think thats just the way it is. All i can do is just keep working and try to get the best score i can get. Reading your post was literally like reading my mind, as all your thoughts that u exlplained, i can relate to them. btw, if u are prepping for the sep test, maybe we can help each other and be be a source of support? i think one think ive felt is that a lot of people on tls cannot relate to us as they have very high expectations, and thus will laugh at our low scores.
