About how much time should be put into review Forum

After doing a PT or a individual sections…..how much time should I spend on reviewing why the right answer was chosen and the wrong ones are incorrect and what are good strategies to get the most out of your review.

I first will do a problem set then review it on my own and write down why wrong answers are incorrect and why the right one was chosen before looking at the explanations for it on the MLSAT board forum to see if I was missing anything else.

do you think I'm spending too much time on review if I am first going through explanations on my own ( which has been the most helpful which forces me to think on my own about why CR is right/why other 4 are wrong,)…..and then going to check out both the Kaplan explanations I have through the prep course and the MLSAT board forum

The only part about that I potentially worry about is checking two different sources of explanations. There are definitely some times to do that, but you're talking about two potentially different frameworks. That can make it harder to pull out patterns.

So I would argue that you should stick to one or the other. (If they're newer explanations- Kaplan's are great. If they're older explanations, it can be a bit more on the hit and miss side)

You may want to figure out which set you prefer for each section and stick to that one- except in cases where you need additional clarification.

I would say as much as it takes. You can't just take practice tests and expect it to eventually "click." The LSAT is one of the hardest tests to master. You have to know why an answer it right and why the others are wrong. In doing that you can understand "their logic." Even though it's a "logic test" part of the problem is that at times, it's their logic. You'll pick up some of their patterns which will help you along the way.
