Baseline Diagnostic Improvement
I understand that there have been various topics posted with this subject matter, but I'm looking for an opinion related to my direct situation. I've just started taking a Kaplan Prep Course and received a 152 diagnostic score (I barely got through half of the logic games).
Through taking this class, I hope to master some of the strategies involved and understand that I will obviously improve from my score when taking the test cold.
I am curious, however, to know what a realistic expectation for improvement should be. If I study hard and attend my classes, could I realistically get somewhere in the high 160's or even 170? I would love to hear some of your experiences and feedback.

There is a thread that literally asks nearly the EXACT same question.

Yah, I improved by more than 20 points from my diagnostic.

In the same boat as the above poster. I went from a 144 to a 160. Looking to knock it out of the park next time. Your amount if effort in studying is corralled with your gainz. Plug away with good study material and methods and you'll be on your way to a great score. A 152 is a decent score for a diag.

155->175 here. You can realistically expect 170+ if you put in the appropriate studying. (And just as a heads up, you're unlikely to get that from Kaplan)

What exactly is the issue with Kaplan?malleus discentium wrote:155->175 here. You can realistically expect 170+ if you put in the appropriate studying. (And just as a heads up, you're unlikely to get that from Kaplan)
