Hi TLS,
I plan on taking the September 2014 LSAT and was planning on registering for the test in August (that way I'll have a better idea of how I'm scoring). Would that be too late to register? For reference, I live in Western Mass (5-College area), and am not sure if seats will start to disappear the longer I wait.
Sorry if this is a silly question, but any guidance will be appreciated!
Thanks!

Re: Registration deadlines
Seats will fill up and test centers could become full while you wait, depending on number of test takers and number of test centers in your area. I have no idea what the demand level is in that area, but 5 college area probably means a good amount. By waiting you're basically risking ending up having a long commute to a test center if your preferred ones fill up.
A long test day commute or staying in a cheap hotel/motel the night before is generally best to avoid since it creates more unnecessary stress that can hurt your performance on test day.
Also, test center facility conditions in terms of desk sizes, noise, parking, history of good vs bad proctors, etc. is important to research. You should make sure to pick a good test center with big desks/large tables with lots of space and comfortable chairs and avoid ones with little cramped desks or other nuisances. There are a few websites with test center ratings you can check out, and maybe some TLS users that see this thread know something about test centers in that area from experience and will post. Maybe change your thread title to 'registering for test centers in Western Mass (5-College area) area' or something like that.
I'd recommend you figure that stuff out and register now to get a good test center unless you think you probably won't end up taking the September test. If you register now and decide later you aren't going to be ready, you can get a partial refund if you cancel your registration by the refund deadline or reschedule your test date for a fee.
