Hello. I know many prep test companies base their curriculums on the latter half of the PTs since they're more aligned with how the LSAC creates questions nowadays. But because I originally planned to take the June 2014 LSAT (will now take September 2014), I've already taken PTs 30-55 and so currently have PTS 1-29 and 56-68 left.
Should I take PTs 1-30 for practice or will that actually harm me more because the questions are significantly different? The other option is to continuously take and retake PTs 30-68. But I'm just afraid my score will be artificially high since I'll have become familiar with the answer choices; I also still would like to have fresh, new tests to take come early September.
Thank you in advance!

They're not significantly different. I think you should still take them and/or just use them as drilling practice. Or use them as extra sections on your retakes.

The earliest I took is 40, and used 1-39 for drills and for experimental sections for the full length PTs.
