Is recent LR generally easier than previous LR

Post by manillabay » Sun Apr 13, 2014 12:12 am

I just did LR sections from PT 48 and I received -3's on both sections, timed, without huffing on my e-cig. I was quite elated with this because on the level 4 questions of Cambridge I seemed to not do as well as I would have liked to---thus indicating to me that I wasn't, am not, where I need/want to be for optimal performance. So either I am wrong and I am where I need to be or these sections are easier. Of course, it could be a little bit of both, but nonetheless I really felt like everyone of the questions I solved was easily understandable and posed very little difficulty. I just don't see how this is right because I have been consistently tripped up on some of the harder questions of various question types and encountered none such here.

You're probably improving. Don't sell yourself short. Try to get it down to -1/-2 for both sections combined though. You'll be golden come September then.

Whether the earlier tests or later were harder is all subjective IMO.

To be fair, your posts have been pretty annoying.
