Which college majors get the best LSAT scores?

From Excess of Democracy (LinkRemoved):

Of course, it's unclear whether majoring in a particular subject leads one to score better on the LSAT, or whether those who are already likely to do well on the LSAT choose certain majors. Perhaps a combination of the two.

How do we interpret this graph? Highest deviation to the bottom right of the trend line --> best major for LSAT?

I'm sorry , but this is retarded. There's little to no correlation. Let people study what they want man. People who learn to think and read critically in school are the ones who will do the best, regardless of major(notwithstanding natural test taking skills/IQ). Lets get this graph outta here.

Darn. I knew I should have majored in "Classics" instead of "16th Century Horticulture & Maritime Affairs."

There is a correlation. The correlation is represented in the graph above. You're arguing against causation.

^ Clearly not a classics major.

Yes! lol

PS: Conversations about LS and the LSAT that focus on the idea of determining "what is the best?" with anything (prep book, class, LS, major, etc.) make me laugh. Reminds me of the types of silly conversations/arguments kids naively and frequently have about subjective/relative things. What's the best flavor? What's the best college? What's the best car? Who has the best pizza? What's the best place to take a vacation? Who is the best player? Which one is the best apartment? What's the best (the magic 170+ one please) study plan? What is the best job? What is the best career? etc.

Such conversations/debates are only one step of intellectual regression away from people using the word bestest!

I always thought physics majors were the highest scoring.

They are (or at least, were), but there probably weren't enough of them to make the chart. This table is from five years ago, but I doubt the landscape has changed that much. Table 2 includes the majors (like physics and math) that didn't have many people taking the LSAT.
