Velocity for logic games
Hello tls!
Given that there are 3 to 3 and a half months to the june test, I wanted to get your opinion on using Velocity's online logic games exclusively for prepping logic games. Has anybody tried the velocity logic games only course, and have any opinions/reviews/thoughts. Additionally, I plan on using the lsat trainer for logical reasoning, and the reading comprehension.I would appreciate any thoughts, thank you!

I wholeheartedly endorse it. I used Velocity for LG only and believe the methods are superior to Powerscore and Manhattan. I went -1 on LG on my retake.

Thank you!, so do u think 3 months are enough time to do the online logic games course? and do u know how many chapters are there in the digital book?, so that I can plan it for 3 months.

Re: Velocity for logic games
the trainer made me solid in LG, i would run into some games i couldnt get, but i would just use the free 7sage.com explanations. Ping is a genius. i did manhattan LR too. but the trainer is awesome man, i would spend my money on cambridge packs and not a course.

I don't usually post here, just lurk, but I had to chime in to endorse Velocity as well.
I recently took the Feb LSAT and if you've been following the Feb chatter, you know that LG was ridiculously hard. I knew it felt a little tougher than all the PTs I had previously done but I feel confident that I did really well. I can usually tell if a game is kicking my ass. I practiced with PowerScore and then Manhattan but could never consistently do better than -7. But within the first 8 minutes of the online Velocity course, everything just clicked.
The course took less than a week to get through and then I was scoring 0 to -3. If I had another week I would have been at 0 for sure.
ETA: I took the course 2 weeks before the test. So yes, 3 months is more than enough time.

I think the &sage guys are the best out there for the games atlest. I personally didnt like Velocity's teaching style, he would talk too much about irrelevant things and make irrelevant comments. Thats how i viewed it, others might have enjoyed it. But ya 7sage is deff the best for games .

No, just no. Velocity is the biggest rip off ever, in my opinion. It has no structure, and the teaching style is very lackluster. Stick with 7Sage for videos and read Manhattan, PS, Trainer, etc...and drill with Cambridge. I honestly feel robbed for ever paying for Velocity's course--buts that's my personal opinion.

Velocity is good, but the free videos from 7Sage are just as good, and also free.

Definitely 7sage, Ping is unbelievable and the explanations are free.

Logic games was my weakest section and I found Velocity to be quite helpful in improving my score. I can't comment on how effective it is versus 7sage though.
