Thanks for this! I was actually just thinking about this
Hmm UNT but none of the other dallas centers. I wonder if they're going to close Collin, which is like half hour away

Has it been snowing in Texas? What's the bad weather?

Its supposed to be freezing rain, which in a normal place isn't a big deal because they have salt trucks. They're not really equipped to deal with it here so if roads are icy, they just wait till it warms up and melts.SteelPenguin wrote:Has it been snowing in Texas? What's the bad weather?

Good to know, also taking it at this location. Live in Arlington though so its not a horrible drive but if the roads are icy it wouldn't be fun.

Re: LSAC closes a few December LSAT test centers due to weather
I noticed the university of memphis says they've closed their campus until Monday, December 9th. Does that mean most likely the test will be canceled as well? Will LSAC definitely post cancelations by tomorrow or they can still do it on Saturday morning?
Also, when is the new test date for ones that have been canceled?

Its official, my testing center is closed. Not that pumped about it. I read a few posts from the last few years when centers were closed and am not digging the uncertainty when the makeup will be scheduled

Ack you're totally right. Facepalm. Back to the uncertainty, then.PatriotP74 wrote:If That's commerce, not the law school! At least what I've seen, the campus is closed tomorrow however, not sure when a call would be made for Saturday morning. Its supposed to be like 20 at 7a.m. so if we get ice it certainly will be frozen.

We should hear something by tomorrow morning, right? It seems pretty harsh/cruel to keep us hanging till the morning of? Idk...

Re: LSAC closes a few December LSAT test centers due to weather
Very big advice for those who get canceled from someone who went through it:
Call your test center every other day or so after the cancellation and ask if LSAC has called to reschedule. They give the makeup on the same day everywhere, and so they won't announce it officially until they have verified every test center, but often the test center will be able to tell you that LSAC re-booked. I knew my makeup was Sat by Tuesday of that week, but LSAC didn't announce it till Thur night.

Re: LSAC closes a few December LSAT test centers due to weather
I'm taking it at Memphis too and was wondering this same thing. Even if they have closed the rest of campus, they could still open Clement Hall Saturday morning for us to take the test. I would just keep checking the LSAC page for cancellations. I don't think the weather is going to be as bad as previously thought.Nicolena. wrote:I noticed the university of memphis says they've closed their campus until Monday, December 9th. EDIT: Just called LSAC, it looks like test centers are canceling in droves. They will update the LSAC page every hour with cancellations as the day progresses. She said in all likelihood if the campus of the school you are scheduled to take it at has closed or cancelled classes, then your test will be rescheduled.
