Should I retake? (3.98/167) Forum

Hello, I just got my score, and I am a bit disappointed...

I have 3.98 and 167, and I have been practicing at 165-175, 171 being both average and mode -- scored 165 only once (I think it was some serious outlier...)

Should I retake in December? or would it be too late anyways?
I have not been studying between October 5th - Now and I have exhausted all test prep material.
I have decent softs and some good life experience for PS.

I would retake. That GPA deserves a higher LSAT score and your wallet will thank you.

Not if you can get in the 170s. You could also consider taking time off. (not sure if you have or not, but not being K-JD is a perk)

i would retake. you have potential to do way higher. go for it! just redo the tests, but maybe time them shorter (Less than 35 min...maybe 27-30 min a section)

With a GPA like that, you owe it to yourself to retake.

Do you think I can safely improve to mid 170s range (in case I drop a few points on the real deal again) within a month?

I was really stagnant towards the end, fluctuating between 169-171 towards the end... :S

Yup. Difference is only accuracy at this point
