Still freaking out...
SO I walked out of the October LSAT feeling really great. Unlike the June exam I didn't cry immediately afterward, and felt confident in LG (which is normally my weakest section BY FAR). Also thought RC at the time went pretty well, and wasn't TOO worried about the LR.
But now I'm starting to freak out and I'm convinced that I scored another 155 (or any score sub 163 tbh). Is this normal?!

Re: Still freaking out...
There's really not much benefit in cancelling imo unless this was your third take. But that's just my opinion. It still counts toward your 3 takes within the 2 year period.

I've been leaning toward cancelling for days, but I really see no reason to. I messed up one of the games, but the rest of it felt OK.
We can always retake in December if we score way below target.

I guess I'm not really thinking of cancelling...I'm moreso just wondering if it's normal for people to think that they did really bad a few days after the exam versus immediately after.

I'm still thinking I scored significantly below my PT average. But, hey, what can u do. Drink some Spanish reds and Johnny Walker black over the next three weeks and hope for the best. If not, retake.

This is a reassuring. Thank you.dosto5 wrote:Yes it's normal. You're second-guessing yourself because you remember little to no details of the exam but are trying to piece it back from bits and pieces. You would not have felt better about any PT you took during prep if you didn't look at them for days after.okaygo wrote:I guess I'm not really thinking of cancelling...I'm moreso just wondering if it's normal for people to think that they did really bad a few days after the exam versus immediately after.

This. Trust yourself. PT70 was really no different to the other PTs you may have practiced under timed conditions. The LSAT is consistent. Trust that you have effectively utilized the skills learned throughout your individual prep.dosto5 wrote:Yes it's normal. dosto5 has a great point. i never thought about it like that. a combination of nerves, and not being able to know how we did right away is sure to make us question our performance. i'm feeling the same waydosto5 wrote:Yes it's normal.
