Worst possible layout? RC-LR-LG-RC-LR? Forum

So I'd assume most people would prefer NOT to have RC as their experimental, for obvious reasons.

I had the aforementioned layout in June, and I think by the last section I was just worn down. I felt like I really killed both RC's (canceled my score), but by the last 10 Q's of LR2 I just was drained. Didn't help that there were a fair amount of hard Q's in there, but I definitely missed some I'd normally have gotten.

Anyway, just curious what other people's thoughts are.

Also, I would take two LGs over two RCs.

i would be furious if there were 2 RCs tomorrow. 3 LRs would be draining also; hopefully the experimental section is a logic games section with really bizarre questions (so we can tell it's experimental)

June of 2012 I had LR, experimental RC, real RC, LG, LR. RC is my hardest section. Turning the page after the last question of the experimental RC section and finding a whole nother RC section was like, one of the most disappointing moments of my life.

Oh, man I REEAALLLY hope that doesn't happen tomorrow. I don't think I've EVER done back to back timed RC sections....

got 3 LRs before my break last time I sat for it. BY the time I was done with the test. I can't even figure out which one was the experimental since all the questions just kind of clumped together in my head.

I had never even contemplated the possibility of an experimental RC section, much less experimental RC right before real RC. And neither should any of you! It's worthless speculation.

On the bright side I still got a great score, on the downside this layout probably cost me 3-4 points.

I would cry. I have never done back to back timed RC sections. I KNEW THERE WAS ONE THING I FORGOT TO DO

I'd obviously rather experimental games, but I'd prefer them split up — like a nice break in between RC and LR and then LR and LR.

If we could pick: LR - LG - RC - LG - LR

...i guess i'm the odd one out because i'd vastly, VASTLY prefer two RCs back to back to two LG sections. games just freak me out, no matter how long i drill/pt/etc.

my ideal layout would be: lr / exp rc / lg / rc / lr

i'm the most relaxed during lr so it'd be nice to open and close with it.

So let me get this straight. You frequently solve mind-bendingly complicated games in 5 minutes flat, and you'd rather not have double games?!

In June I had LR - LG - LR - LR - RC. I wouldn't mind having that again, or maybe swap the last two sections.
