Best time to do warmup?
First time test taker with a logistics question:
I like to do one LG and about 5 LR flash cards as a warmup. When will I be able to do this? Once I get checked in and am sitting in the room? After I get checked in and before I have to go in the room? Do I have to do it before I check in?
Thank you!

Re: Best time to do warmup?
You can't bring LSAT work into the test, so before check in. I did a LG before check in and 6-8 LR questions standing in line for check in.nothingtosee wrote:First time test taker with a logistics question:

Just seconding the above, you won't be able to take anything into the room. Depending on the setup of your test center, you might need to get rid of it before you are even in line. I did a little bit of mine before heading out to the center, and then a little more before entering. But my center is only a 15-20 minute drive away.

people cramming on LR and game sections in the last few minutes prior to lsat administration are ridiculous.

it has absolutely nothing to do with cramming... it's a way to get your brain in LSAT mode so that your first exposure to questions on gameday isn't S1Q1mephistopheles wrote:people cramming on LR and game sections in the last few minutes prior to lsat administration are ridiculous.

Yeah.. Don't think it's cramming. It's just getting the gears turning before you begin PT 70 ... AKA "warm up"cahwc12 wrote:it has absolutely nothing to do with cramming... it's a way to get your brain in LSAT mode so that your first exposure to questions on gameday isn't S1Q1mephistopheles wrote:people cramming on LR and game sections in the last few minutes prior to lsat administration are ridiculous.

Doing a warm up is 100% credited. Just make sure you pick something easy, you don't want to crush your confidence going in, and just do it in the car right before you walk in. I did a page of LR, a simple game, and one passage before walking.

Pull an all-nighter before the test going through every page of your Kaplan "LSAT 180" book.
