What paper material is the actual LSAT made out of?
I remember my prep teacher telling us it was made put of a thinner material that was a bit like newspaper and doesn't if you write something it doesn't erase too well (like it you mess up a diagram for a game) is this true or exaggerated?

It's the same awful shit your SAT and every other standardized test you've ever taken is on.
I've taken it twice, and neither time was there a problem with erasing.

It doesn't erase at neatly or completely invisible as regular paper, but it's nothing to worry about.

Unless you erase vigorously. I've had several students say they tried to erase and went right through the paper.SteelPenguin wrote:It doesn't erase at neatly or completely invisible as regular paper, but it's nothing to worry about.
Try to minimize erasing as much as possible; have a fresh eraser so that the metal rim doesn't catch the page; and use just a little bit of force when erasing.

Use a nice smooth white art eraser (can't remember the brand but they're wrapped in blue cardboard) instead of gritty pink pencil erasers.

Yeah, you're going to need a latex-free eraser (consult pencils thread) and you'll be fine.
This is also a great addition to the long list of kitchen sink LSAT forum posts. I'm still waiting for "Which brand of plastic bag should I use?"
