LGB Ch. 7: The Forgotten Few.... worth the time and energy?

Post by archieg » Wed Sep 11, 2013 11:45 pm

As I'm slowly working my way to (FINALLY!) finishing up the Logic Games Bible, I got up to Ch. 7: The Forgotten Few.

And I was wondering if its worth all the trouble. I did the games once, looked over them, (My strategy is to actually do some games, go over them, then do them the next day with as fresh a mind as possible) and I'll try and go over them tomorrow.

But in all honesty, I'd like to just finish up this book ASAP and start the following week with a new book (LRB).

Are they worth worrying about? Have a lot of these new types of questions popped up lately?

Thanks!

Just understand them enough to be able to deal with them just in case. There's a very low chance of such games appearing, but if that LSAT is the one that it does appear on...well then you better be ready for it.

It doesn't take too much extra work to get a workable handle on it since a lot of the logic is very similar to the other games just with slight modifications.

Doing unique and rare games will prepare you for unexpected twists, even if they're not a completely new different type of game. So I'd say it's worth it.
