Struggling with RC, holding me back

Post by valrath » Wed Sep 11, 2013 6:07 pm

Hi all,

Been studying just over 2 months now for the October retake, and I've brought my PTs up from 160-164 to 166-172

The result of the increase was just a better understanding of LR traps, as most LG is still -1 or -0

However, I just can't seem to grasp RC no matter how hard I try. It's the reason for the huge variance on my PTs. I would usually get -6 to -8 on the other 3 sections, and a -7 on the RC would just poop all over my score.

I'm struggling with timing and I find myself looking back at the text too much because I seem to keep overlooking what I have underlined (it's not standing out to me).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and was also wondering if it was possible to raise my score to 175+ within the next couple weeks
