It's like crossfit for the mind and I like the fact that my mind is becoming stronger.

I like your Zelda analogy.
I kind of treat life as a Zelda game. Im always trying to gain income/skills/accessories, solve puzzles, and beat levels/bosses IRL.

I enjoy the challenge, the thrill of the chase...to strive to reach the unreachable star to the dream the impossible dream to spend myself in a worthy cause -- the fact that their is quantifiable perfection (180) that is actually attainable (though elusive) is exciting, exhilarating and a constant inner/instrinsic catalyst to push further, harder and longer than I previously thought possible. I like the imagery of the LSAT as a conquest and crusade to enrich and illumine the mind -- to purge the darkness and expand the noetic boundaries of what we think is possible... the LSAT literally reconfigures our brain chemistry and neurological composition to ameliorate our left brain logical capacity to think, to reason and to critically analyze information -- I for one think it's pretty cool.

I love a good challenge--the LSAT offers plenty of that. I love that it forces me to focus and quiet my mind. I value the skills being reinforced.

The part where I get to go from being a recent grad with a 3.6 GPA, making $10.50 an hour at a menial job, to an Ivy League law school after just a handful of months worth of word-puzzles.

+1. I've probably told my family and friends this same thing twenty times, but no one likes to believe that the LSAT may be worth more than those years spent in undergrad.RhymesLikeDimes wrote:The part where I get to go from being a recent grad with a 3.6 GPA, making $10.50 an hour at a menial job, to an Ivy League law school after just a handful of months worth of word-puzzles.

The LSAT is basically a pen and paper version of Majora's Mask.
