anyone else get this feeling you are never studying enough?

Post by flash21 » Thu Jul 18, 2013 8:21 pm

I am not sure why but I have this constant nagging inside my head when I am doing other things, that I should be studying. Whether it be going out with friends for a bit, being at work, or doing some school work.

Wondering if anyone else felt like this? Not sure why this is happening.

I felt this way for a while and still do on occasion, but to be fair I have always felt that way with anything academic. What helped me was to create a schedule and stick with it. For example, I am studying for 3.5 hours everyday for the next month and then will bump it up from there. So, I have blocked off 9-10:30am as LSAT 1 and then 1-2:30pm as LSAT 2 then 5:30-6:00pm as LSAT 3. Granted I have a nice work schedule where I make my own hours and so can afford to do this, but you can adjust to fit your needs.

This allows you to feel accomplished and not have that nagging feeling with you all of the time, including when you studied a lot that day.

Yeh. I just need someone to bring me food, a full gym and a shower to the library and I'll be good. :D

Yah that feeling never goes away. I see lawyers dealing with it too.

I can only imagine what this must be like. I was/am such a neurotic in undergrad that I'm sure this will be brutal.
