Post by flash21 » Tue Jul 09, 2013 6:47 pm

Question
1, 2, 9, 12, 22, 23, 37 so far I've gotten wrong. If someone could help explain these to me I would greatly appreciate it.

Have you read Manhattan LR? If you're missing a lot of L1s, I strongly suggest it.

I have LRB, I am reviewing the flaw questions from there. I still have memorizing to do of all the common flaws. thanks for the link too its great (to the other poster)

Personally, LRB didn't do much for me. I maybe went from 7-9 per section to -5 to -7 per section. It wasn't until I got MLSAT LR that I started to feel like I had an active approach to LR questions, as opposed to passively thinking I got the argument, but really didn't.

Man do I hate flaw questions. For whatever reason, I just have a hard time with them. I don't know if they are generally just more difficult, but there are some flaw questions that are real doozy's. Besides PS and Manhattan, I would like to hear other peeps that successfully used a strategy from other prep companies for these questions.

Memorize the list in the logical flaw section in PS.

And get into a habit of prephrasing flaw questions. This is absolute key. If you don't have a sense of what the flaw is going in, then you're going to be in big trouble.
