LSAT Prep Courses, SF Bay Area

Post by Irundistance » Thu Jun 13, 2013 8:57 pm

I live in San Francisco, wondering what prep company will serve me well for the LSAT. Any San Francisco specific insight would be great! I know there is a whole sticky on this but I would like some recommendations for the SF Area. I plan on taking the Dec LSAT. I need a lot of instruction on the basics (specifically logic games). Thanks!

^^ Tried that, 3 months of drilling, practice, bibles, review and its not working; I know self study is the go-to method for most, but it does not work for me

UC Berkeley has tons of different test prep programs. I took Powerscore there and would recommend it.

Thank you! What did you find beneficial about Powerscore?

I went through the Bibles (produced by Powerscore) and decided that I needed more structure in my studying, so I took a class. The classes are small and the methods work.

One caveat: if you're already scoring 160+ I don't think the class will help much. I made most of gains after the class while self-studying, however, I still feel that the class was worth the money.
