Name spelled wrong on LSAT ticket
I looked over my ticket multiple times in the past week and didn't catch the fact that my name had an extra letter. I accidentally added 2 "ll"s instead of one l. I was looking around the LSAC website and it states that the name change must be submitted no later than 5pm Friday. Is there anything that I can do? Has anyone ever been in a similar situation? I understand that it was my fault for not being more thorough in checking the ticket, but the error has been made and I am looking for a way to correct it. My test time is fairly late tomorrow, I was wondering if I could call them and have the name changed.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Name spelled wrong on LSAT ticket
Since you missed the deadline LSAC cannot or at least will not change your name in the system in time for you to print out a new fixed admission ticket before the check-in deadline. If you are really prepared for the test and want to take it, your best chance is to just show up and check in like normal and hope the check-in proctor doesn't notice the extra L on the admission ticket that is not on your ID. If you don't bring attention to it I doubt they will notice, but you never know unless you try.

Same thing happened to me... I just took the test like normal, and when my score came back, I called LSAC and told them my name was misspelled. They just made me fax in some form

If the test itself wasn't stressful enough, now I have to worry about the proctor catching the misspelled name. Thank you for the advice and I will make sure to follow it tomorrow.

I'd be shitting my pants tonight if going in HOPING that the proctor doesn't catch the misspell.

Don't worry about it. The odds are overwhelmingly good that no one says anything.

I'm sure that's very comforting to the OP.Bronx Bum wrote:I'd be shitting my pants tonight if going in HOPING that the proctor doesn't catch the misspell.

For future reference - I was able to have the extra "l" removed by calling 215.968.1001. To speed up the process fill out and email the following form before calling in - http://www.lsac.org/jd/pdfs/biographical-changes.pdf to lsacbio@lsac.org.

So no issue with the 3-5 business days the form claims?nsv wrote:For future reference - I was able to have the extra "l" removed by calling 215.968.1001. I can not say if they will be more strict in the future but I had no problem getting the extra letter removed. It went far better than I thought it would. The whole process took no longer than 10 minutes. Now I wait until 12:30 to take the exam.KD35 wrote:So no issue with the 3-5 business days the form claims?nsv wrote:For future reference - I was able to have the extra "l" removed by calling 215.968.1001.
